You will have to go to ki and tell them that and they should give you a physical pass
10am for non gold pass members.
All season dining added to two Gold passes is 122.00 each Platinum 144.00 EACH. Yes , each. That consists of two meals a day at select participating locations within the park. The meals must be 4 hours apart and they do not include the drinks. All Season drink pass added to a gold pass is 29.99 and you can get a refill every 15 minutes. It is a good idea to purchase the meal plan in the off-season or really early in the season because of the discounted $99 price.
Do you like amusement parks? If so, yes. If not, no.
As of 2017 Kings island has a total of 48 rides
Some are some aren't get the app it'll tell you which ones are open
Varies...First few weeks of summer is usually 8pm weekdays and 10pm. Summer Hours: usually 10pm. with Saturday until midnight. During Haunt nights in the fall: 1 am most nights. Check their official website for exact hours.
Kings Island will have Dollar Days over Labor Day weekend, where several games and treats will cost only $1.
If you go during the friends and family discount week you can get in for $16 a person if you know someone with a gold pass.
I’ve been going to kings island every summer for as long as I remember. I live in Indiana and I drove there yesterday. The rides are great and i’ve always loved going, however yesterday it was completely different. I was walking yesterday to a ride and was questioned on why my mask was below my nose. I told her I had a medical condition and only wore a mask when i couldn’t social distance. She continued to follow me and get very close to my face and I told her I had a medical condition and she was asking what it was. Completely disrespectful and also against the law. I wish I would have gotten her name but I didn’t. I would have given lower stars but because they cleaned efficiently and the orion was fun.
Had a great time! Plenty of room to socially distance. Everyone in masks. Staff cleaning and disinfecting all the time. It was wonderful!
Great place to spend a day. It wasn't very crowded and it seemed like most people were following social distancing and mask requirements. The app wasn't very helpful because it seemed like the wait times for some rides were not accurate. Missed being able to see the fireworks/light show at the end of the day, but I know it wasn't possible since they closed at 7.
Perfect stop for adrenaline junkies! Wearing a mask in the heat and humidity is no fun but we weren’t going to let it stop us! I recommend bringing a water bottle but, if you don’t want to lug it around, the food stops would give you ice water at no charge. I almost had a sore throat from screaming so much! Totally worth it!
One of our favorite places! We get season passes yearly and enjoy the rides and waterpark. HALLOWEEN is the best time! So many haunts in one place. I suggest buying a daily meal package or adding one onto season passes. The refillable drink cup is a must! The lines don't bother me and I really like how water rides are strategically placed in all areas of the park.
The orion is a 5 star ride kings island is always great. July 25 reduced capacity and hours due to covid masks are required and the staff sanitized the rides often. Go for the fast pass if you want to ride coasters and pass up the long lines, pricey but worth it. Kings Island is always great
The new coaster Orion was awesome. Wait times are short. The only thing I didn't like was how rude some of the employees were. But it was extremely hot so...and also they did away with all the smoker's areas.
Fun place! Always enjoy bringing the family here! We get season passes and love the convenience the passes offer.
What can I say, its a great little park. They only have a handful of true roller coasters but the ones they have are pretty fun. Maybe the best part of the park is that it still has a family feel to it. The staff tries to accommodate you as best as possible, unlike the big sister Cedar Point who only wants your money. Keep it up Kings Island!
Lots of rides for adults and children, tons of food choices (food was overpriced and pretty gross, so that didnt seem worth it), free water, and an area to take off your mask and get some nice air, there were tons of shady areas to sit and rest and get out of the sun, and there were countless free hand sanitizer stations. The kids had a blast though, so it was a great experience!
Me and my family came here.my wife purchased season passes on line and we drive for hours to get there. When we pulled up we noticed the water park was closed that wasn't mentioned on their website. Then my wife has medical condition so she can't wear a mask. At first it wasn't a problem till someone else noticed and harass us about and she explained they let us in knowing this. Then we had to leave not only that most rides we can't ride because of medical condition so our kids suffer because of it . They told us no refund spend your money some where else this place is a waste of time
One of my favorite parks. The new Orion coaster has a 300' drop and reaches 91mph! The staff was very professional and attentive. The covid-19 procedures made it interesting (temp checks, masks, temporary ride closures for cleaning, etc). The staff was very respectful regarding this. I did not hear a single complaint and EVERYONE was wearing a mask and adhering to the social distancing guidelines (a few times I saw people forget, but when reminded, they complied without complaining). Overall, despite pandemic procedures, it was a very enjoyable experience.
Love this place, especially if you have kids. It's more kid friendly then cedar point and the rides aren't always down like cedar point as well. The new Orion is amazing, prob best coaster or at least top 3 I've ever ridden. Such a great time for everyone!
Our family, ages 10, 12, 14, 16 & 3 adults, had a great time despite having to wear masks on a 93° day. The lines were short, drinks were plenty (get the drink pass!! It's worth it!), and the employees were great! All the employees were happy & did a great job sanitizing high touch areas! We felt safe & the reduced hours were still perfect...we were wore out & ready to head home! (Only 4/5 stars because after waiting in line for about 10-15min at Tom-Chee to get drinks my kids were told no because they were closed....(they were in line at 6:50p...before closing but were not served, so I went up & explained that they had been waiting & all we wanted was a drink & some waters.)They got them but weren't too happy..but neither was I, it was HOT & all we needed were a few drinks!
Love this place. Of course Covid19 made it a little duller, but still had a blast! Could use signs pointing to where rides are located.
Overall great Kings Island experience! I do wish they had been more informative or compationate for smokers, the info on site says only in designated areas, however there are no longer area's, there is one outside of the main gate! They could have made a single area inside the park! Aside from this very negative part, we had a great day!
I was really impressed with how Kings Island implemented their Covid response. They did a great job and their newest ride Orion is AMAZING!!
Great rides. Lines got a little long and the masks become a bit overwhelming. The beers were warm and the rude guy serving them refused to take back, offered to give me ice from the cooler his hand was going in to. Lines for rides did go quick. Afternoons around 3 are best to go.
You will have to wear a mask, no questions asked. Please don’t be that person. They will stop the ride. We witnessed that firsthand.Despite COVID-19 this is a great place to go right now. Rides that normally took 2 to 3 hours were ridden multiple times in under an hour. Just remember, please wear your mask, stay 6 feet away, and enjoy riding everything at least twice.
If we wasnt going thru this pandemic, I would've rated this more. But alot if attractions and things were closed. I think the admission price should go down. The coastal ride was the best and the rafting one.
Kings island in Ohio is amazing I heard that it was one of the lesser parks in Ohio but to be very frankly honest this is a stand-alone awesome place. I don't know if people are comparing it to cedar point or some other unrealistic expectation basis but I found that it was less busy than cedar point had just as good thrill rides and honestly Orion plus diamondback are amazing combos and you have a whole bunch of great woodies that are super fun. If anywhere near the Cincinnati area and you got some extra time hit up Kings island.
The staff is awesome. They are thoroughly enforcing social distancing and masks. They are also cleaning regularly. We had a blast!
I brought my nephew here for his Birthday today and he got to enjoy all the rides. The only disappointing thing was the water stuff was closed due to Covid 19 which is understandable to me, but not a 6 year old. Good times though
Kings Island was great today, a bit hot but not nearly as many visitors as usual. Got to go on the Orion for the first time and it didn't disappoint. Just a heads up, they will issue you a boarding ticket with a half hour window for when you can get in line, so don't expect to jump right on. Wasn't as much of a hassle as I thought to get in and have the masks on and there are tons of employees sanitizing hand rails and commonly touched areas.
Kings Island deserves a standing ovation for their handling of the current pandemic. The park has always been very clean, but on our recent visits we saw staff scrubbing down rides, toilets, hand rails, tables, etc immediately after use. It can't be an easy job, but they have stepped up to the plate! Everyone wears a mask and social distancing is easily done with less people in the park. I haven't seen anyone do a better job than Kings Island when it comes to handling this situation!! I'm proud to support them and feel safe when visiting! Keep it up and thank you for being a shining example in our community!!
Great time! Great family park as well. This was my first time in 20 years and I'll be back a few times before the end of the season. I highly recommend going in the tower for some great view of the park. The staff is great too. They have been keeping up on the cleaning so if you have doubts during this time, I feel safer here then at a Walmart or store.
Great job, Kings Island. They are doing a great job with masks, sanitizing, and social distancing. The rides have stickers for lines that are 6 feet+ apart. The employees are pretty good about asking people and they are all very good with masks. There are rest stations, that used to be smoke stops, that you are able to take your mask off, so that helped a ton. The rides are great and kept up pretty well. Their food is good, but very overpriced. Value for ticket is great. The only thing I would say is that the employees aren't always the most friendly. They are much better than in the past and we met a lot nicer ones. But, some of the workers just do not look happy to be there. Great job, Kings Island on the safety measures and great job on the entertainment!
Kings island is kings island. But crazy as it sounds due to civil rules we were only able to ride 2 coaster in 3 hours. And the masks were super hot.
Honestly I believe Busch Gardens is a much better place than this! Besides that, plenty of rides here to keep you occupied along with good food! They are also strict about masks and are always wiping things down constantly!
Visited the park twice this week. The staff are doing an amazing job keeping the park clean and sanitized. They were all so nice and helpful which isn’t easy wearing masks in 100 degree weather. I have MS and used my walker. Everything is handicap accessible and with a boarding pass I was able to ride the coasters with ease. Just had to stop at guest services and they got me all set up. I feel completely comfortable visiting the park and recommend it to anyone looking for some family fun!
A great park with a variety of rides from high thrill to family fun. The food was surprisingly good for an amusement park as well. Waits were short due to Covid.
A friend and myself dropped a number of pent up teenagers off here today. I was a bit concerned as to the safety of the place under our current conditions. I was instantly comforted by seeing everyone and I mean everyone wearing masks and practicing social distancing. The park was full of laughter and screams of thrills and delight. They had scaled back capacity and and hand sanitizer stations were everywhere. Needless to say the kids were happy and worn out by the end of the day and it would appear that even after all these years they still keep safety for their patrons above profits! Thanks and well done! As Always, Enjoy!
A great day in the park. My friend and I headed to Orion as soon as we got to the park and got our ride tickets (it doesn't cost extra, but it really controls the wait times). We rode a few rides before our 1 to 2pm ride time and only waited less than 20 minutes to get on Orion. It was awesome. The employees are doing a great job with keeping the park clean, enforcing the mask requirements and social distancing (which is kind of nice because you don't have other people crowding into your personal space.) The lines are very reasonable, especially on a Wednesday.
This was the best park I've ever been to all rides were open no downtimes. The staff was amazing so nice everyone went above and beyond why better than cedar point which I visited 2 days prior that park was a joke. Will be visiting again
It was amazing! Great rides and scenery. Food was overpriced, but expected like it is at most parks. Overall great
So much fun and they are doing a great job keeping everything clean and the people in line. They have lots of interesting rides including a historic wooden roller coaster. Shortened hours were plenty with the lower crowds We had a great day!
Orion was awesome! Not a whole bunch of people do to covid 19. Waited on basically zero ride except Orion. Airways a great time at the Island
A great way to spend the day with family and they're doing all they can to keep everything as clean as possible to mitigate exposure to the virus.
Had to wear a mask all day but the lines wasn't long for most of the rides! Had a great day and really enjoyed the orion the most! Fun for everyone!!!!!!!
Staple in my life — I’ve never had a bad experience! I try to go at least once a year! Great variety of rides, high thrill to kid rides!
We had a great time! The staff did a very good job implementing social distancing and making sure guests wore masks.
Our family loves kings island. Even with the masks being place they do a very good job at making the day fun
Kings Island is still great even during this pandemic. Ride wait times were not bad, and it was not too over crowded. The only problem we did have was groups of teenagers that were not respecting the 6ft social distancing guidelines.. Just be prepared to have to argue with teenage children that are half your age if you want your 6ft bubble. Aside from that it was a great time. Oh and ... Orion is a spectacular Giga Coaster.
Such a joy to get out and have have so much fun in a safe and friendly environment. King's Island has always been special to me, but i cannot appreciate them enough for their dedication to keeping their guests safe. The staff and entire experience was top notch! Thank you, it truly was a best day!
Kids can't wait to go, purchased gold passes for the first time then covid hit, but they stopped payments on those and extended our passes through 2021
Very nice! Lot of places closed, guess cause of covid. All in all nice time had.
4 stars for the food and drink and parking prices. Other than that, fantastic day! I recommend the combo ticket. Went to the new Orion around noon and line was short, it got longer later. It was totally awesome, a better thrill than I expected. The skyliner was a terrifying slow ride I highly (pun intended) recommend. The staff was friendly, one even let me charge my phone behind the bar! Hope to return some day.
Nice place. The new Orion is an awesome ride. The Beast was surprisingly a very cool ride. Will definitely return.
Great thrill rides and super clean park. Friendly staff. Always a fun place to visit. Attentive to Covid19 restrictions and safety. Great job, KI!
Went during covid and they did a good job keeping us safe. As a cedar point pass holder kings island has way better food options.
